Hey !

Il est grand temps d'évoquer les sorties de juillet. Pour ma part, j'ai repéré beaucoup de titres VO mais peu en VF.

Sans plus tarder, je vous présente ma sélection du mois. N'hésitez pas à partager la vôtre en commentaire ;)

Le charme de la couverture a encore frappé. Cette création de Charlie Bowater est magnifique *o* Et le résumé est très sympa aussi. De la fantasy YA comme je l'aime.

J'avoue, j'air reçu premier avec la FairyLoot mais je ne l'ai toujours pas lu. Je note tout de même que, si le premier me fait forte impression, je pourrai enchaîner avec la suite ;)

J'ai reçu ce roman avec la FairyLoot de mai. Et je dois dire que le résumé est très alléchant. Une jeune femme maudite, un démon, des légendes inspirées de la mythologie Perse...je sens que je vais passer un bon moment.

Je n'ai que des bons échos sur le premier tome (Spin the Dawn) donc je me dis que je craquerai bien. Et pour ceux qui l'ont déjà fait, la suite arrive le mois prochain. Cette réécriture de Mulan m'intrigue. Et puis mon petit coeur a entendu qu'il y avait une romance interdite...ce qui lui parle bien. Ce roman a beaucoup d'atouts pour plaire ^^

Ce n'est que récemment que j'ai entendu parler de ce roman et le résumé m'a tout de suite bien plu. Je ne suis pourtant pas une amatrice de sci-fi mais là, l'idée de combrattre des monstres me plaît beaucoup. Surtou quand on me dit que les monstres ne sont pas ceux que l'on croit. Ca annonce de belles surprises en général ;)

Rumpelstiltskin est un personnage qui me fascine. Il a une dualité très intéressante, ni bon ni vraiment mauvais. Je connais peu de récit avec un tel personnage alors quelle belle surprise de trouver ce roman.

Ce roman s'annonce divertissant. Les premiers avis arrivent et sont plutôt encourageant. Hâte de le voir arriver dans ma BAL avec une certaine box ^^

Une suite que j'attends avec une certaine impatience. Le premier tome a été une très bonne découverte. Je suis curieuse de découvrir les prochaines aventures de nos amis Corbeaux. Hâte de lire ça !!

Titres VF :

Les Els#3, H. Roy

Ce titre était d'abord annoncé pour juin mais les récents événements ont repoussé sa sortie.

Amazon et d'autres revendeurs annoncent toujours la date du 1er juillet mais rien n'est officiel.

Affaire à suivre !!

Mercy Thompson#11 : Le Souffle du Mal, Patricia Briggs

Mercy Thompson doit faire face à un ennemi mortel pour défendre tout ce qui lui est cher...

Mon nom est Mercedes Athena Thompson Hauptman, et je suis mécanicienne. Et changeuse coyote... Et la compagne de l'Alpha de la meute du bassin du Columbia.

Mais rien de tout ça ne poserait de problème si je n'avais pas accepté d'endosser la responsabilité de protéger tous ceux qui vivent sur notre territoire. Sur le moment, ça semblait être la chose à faire. Ça aurait dû se limiter à traquer des gobelins tueurs, des chèvres zombies et un troll de temps à autre. Au lieu de cela, notre foyer est à présent considéré comme une zone neutre où les humains peuvent négocier avec les faes sans danger.

En réalité, rien ni personne n'est en sécurité. Tandis que généraux et politiciens affrontent les Seigneurs Gris des faes, une tempête approche... Et son nom est la Mort.

Mais nous sommes la meute, et nous avons donné notre parole. Qu'importe le prix.

Je ne manque aucun tome de cette série que j'aime énormément. Mercy Thompson est une valeur sûre. J'ai hâte de me procurer ce nouveau tome afin de retrouver ces personnages que j'affectionne tant.
